Tipping

What is Tipping?

Tipping on cam sites means sending tokens or credits to a model as appreciation, to request actions from their tip menu, or to support their performance. It's the primary way viewers pay performers in free chat on live cam and adult cam platforms.

How tipping works: you buy tokens (see our token entry), then in a model's room you send some of those tokens to the model. You might tip a small amount just to show appreciation, or tip a specific amount that corresponds to an action on their tip menu (e.g., "50 tokens for a flash"). Tips can also go toward goals (e.g., "tip to unlock a show") or control interactive toys. The model receives a portion of each tip; the platform takes the rest. Auto-tipping is an option on some sites for hands-free support at set intervals. The best cam sites make tipping simple and transparent so viewers know exactly what they're paying for.

If you enjoy a show, tipping—even a little—supports the performer and often makes the experience more interactive. For more on the system, see our entries on token, tip menu, and free chat.
