Usually, nothing about logging in to a cam site is interesting. However, the user experience issues in MyFreeCams can start even before you verify your email address... Without any apparent reason, we had major issues connecting to our MyFreeCams review account on two occasions. But no worries: 30 minutes later, the login was up and running! The reason we say "mostly" is that some small features are only available to site members (as far as we know, messaging models and full access to chat options). However, you become a lifetime member of the platform as soon as you buy your first tokens. And no, the "lifetime membership" doesn't include renewable contracts, hidden fees, or anything like that. As a free cam site, MyFreeCams has everything users could hope to find when it comes to model availability (over 900 live cams each day we logged in, which is impressive!), working features, and pricing models for users and earners (you get tokens, and that's basically it).
On the other hand, navigating the platform can be frustrating at times, especially if you value user experience and web design.

The MyFreeCams chat interface doesn't have unique interactive options, but runs without issues and, unlike most site pages, is actually laid out intuitively. The best part, of course, is that every single show is 100% free. We also like that you can see related cam girls streaming right now while watching shows, which is great for discoverability. We have spotted some shows where models used controllable sex toys, but they are certainly not as easy to find on MyFreeCams as on competitors such as Chaturbate and BongaCams.

So, we will introduce you to a non-essential but overlooked aspect of the site: the Model List Settings. To put it simply, it is one of the most detailed filtering systems for cam sites that we have ever tested, making it easy to find whoever you're looking for or even get a good idea of the cam girls you have watched before. As with most things on MyFreeCams, even filtering is somewhat ruined by the poor user experience, as the Model List Settings box can only be found at the end of the page of the homepage, and not without first scrolling through every available live show…

Regarding pricing, it's almost impossible to point a finger at MyFreeCams. As far as we know, they are doing everything to keep the site free while balancing cam model expectations and ensuring the page remains online. In short:

MyFreeCams is packed with gorgeous cam models… and horrible web design decisions!
MyFreeCams is an excellent platform for watching NSFW free cam shows without worrying about time limits, hidden fees, or auto-renewable "free" test periods. Compared to the best cam sites, however, MyFreeCams lacks the style, robust features, and diverse options of the top platforms. Sadly, we believe MyFreeCams' positives (which can actually be impressive) can sometimes be outweighed by its negatives in the end…. Our three main concerns are:
- They never seem to think about the user experience: Online services must seriously consider each user's "trip" and improve the website. The MyFreeCams platform seems to exist in a parallel universe, where UX is still a strange new concept…
- The website is… ugly: Aesthetics are just about looks and taste, but don't you prefer to interact with cam girls on a clean website? Considering the MyFreeCams site was released in 2004, is it possible they never updated the design?
- The platform is just for straight people: We all know how the adult entertainment industry relies on straight men as its main source of income, but MyFreeCams has decided not to accept male/gay and trans cams to keep its users comfortable. Nevertheless, MyFreeCams' "philosophical" approach to banning all LGBTQ+ content is as out of style as the website.
To lay out our entire review in a sentence: We recommend using MyFreeCams as the fine 100% free cam site it is, but we hope you make a better choice if you ever decide to go for a premium membership.
